About Linda Filardi

Linda Filardi leads as senior director and associate general counsel for CapitalOne’s corporate banking business. She comes to her career with more than 25 years of experience in her field, having received her juris doctor magna cum laude in 1991. After eight years of service as a corporate finance associate in New York City, Linda Filardi joined Donna Karan International as senior counsel responsible for licensing agreements and other corporate operations matters.

In 1998, Linda Filardi relocated to Tokyo, Japan, where she became a senior corporate and securities associate for Skadden Arps. She served a subsequent tenure with iReality Corporation before joining the Asian team at GE Commercial Finance as senior counsel. In this role, she offered legal advice on domestic and internal matters, including the structuring of distressed debt acquisitions and the prevention of money laundering in nonperforming portfolios.

Linda Filardi went on from this position to serve GE Capital for an additional 12 years as part of its New York team. She served as executive finance in leveraged finance and marketing, a role that required her oversight of second lien, mezzanine loan, and senior secured lending.

When GE’s leveraged finance and equity business became Antares Capital LP, Ms. Filardi became deputy general counsel and corporate secretary. She continues to serve in this capacity concurrent with her responsibilities at Capital One.
